Stuart Schonfeld
For over 25 years Stuart Schonfeld has been working in the commercial film industry. Schonfeld was highly regarded in the freelance market working with such directors as John Pytka and Joe Pytka of PYTKA, Michael Karbelnikoff and Graham Henman of HKM Productions, Michael Apted and Roland Joffé at Tate &Partners, Barry Meyers, David Cornell and Michael Werk at Spots Films International, and many other internationally recognized directors and companies.
After eight years in the freelance world, Schonfeld accepted a staff position at PYTKA where he would spend the next four years bidding and prepping jobs for Joe Pytka. During this time over 600 spots were produced providing Schonfeld both considerable budgeting experience and a wide range of international contacts.
With his extensive background, Schonfeld entered the role of Executive Producer for RedBack films, the independent U.S. offshoot of one of Australia’s oldest and leading production companies, The Film Business. RedBack films boasted a roster of 12 directors, including Michael Apted, Peter Menzies, Jr., Scott Miller and Jamie Mortellaro.
Since 1999, through his company Production Concepts, Incorporated, Schonfeld has been Facilitating and Producing commercial & feature productions for overseas companies with filming interests throughout the United States.
Between 2000 and 2001 Schonfeld produced two Vanguard Cinema released feature films, Murder in the Heartland and Video X: The Dwayne and Darla-Jean Story.

Production Concepts, Inc. is based in Los Angeles with a satellite facility in Marin County, 10 minutes North of San Francisco. Stuart’s Guide is based in Las Vegas, Nevada. |
